In May, OSID hosts the Okanagan Design Expo (ODEX), the event of the year! Bringing together OSID members, manufacturers, suppliers, and industry representatives and professionals across BC. This year the event venue was hosted at The Okanagan Golf Club where attendees spent the day discovering new products, networking, collecting IDCEC hours, and enjoying lunch on the sunny patio overlooking the golf course.

What should you expect for ODEX?
- The full day event will feature up to three seminars for OSID members to participate in that are IDCEC accredited towards Continuing Education Units (CEU) for Registered and Intern Members of IDIBC.
- "The venue is beautiful, welcoming, and spacious,” says Krista Paine of Ian Paine Construction and Design. “The educators present well and grab your attention."
- The table top tradeshow portion is the highlight of the afternoon/eve, featuring all our BC product manufacturers on hand to share new products, network and even a prize draw is held where attendees can win door prizes. At the last event Okanagan hosted over 100 attendees and 42 showcase table tops. Year after year, ODEX has been successfully received by all table top trades and manufacturers.
OSID’s next Okanagan Design Expo ODEX event will be taking place in May 2025.
