In May, OSID hosts the Okanagan Design Expo (ODEX), the event of the year! Bringing together OSID members, manufacturers, suppliers, and industry representatives and professionals across BC. This year the event venue will be hosted at UBCO in the Engineering, Management & Education Building where attendees will spend the day in seminars to collect IDCEC hours, discovering new products and networking with designers and industry representatives.

What should you expect from ODEX?
- The full day event will feature up to three seminars for OSID members to participate in that are IDCEC accredited towards Continuing Education Units (CEU) for Registered and Intern Members of IDIBC.
- The table top tradeshow portion is the highlight of the afternoon/eve, featuring all our BC and Alberta product manufacturers on hand to share new products, network and even a prize draw is held where attendees can win door prizes. At the last event Okanagan hosted over 180 attendees and 42 showcase table tops. Year after year, ODEX has been successfully received by all table top trades and manufacturers.
OSID’s next Okanagan Design Expo ODEX event will be taking place on May 21st 2026.
