TRAINING GRANTS INITIATIVE - PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT COMMITEE
We are actively seeking volunteers to work with the board Directors, DIRECTOR and DIRECTOR in developing the OSID Members Training Grant Program -This is a new initiative that OSID is developing that will provide financial support to our OSID members to attend training events and opportunities outside of the region. We are seeking a minimum of two volunteers to work closely with the above Directors to help develop and launch this program. COMMUNICATIONS & MEDIA COMMITTEE
AMELIA SMITH is rocking our Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn social media and is always developing our website but we are always looking for people to help with our e-blasts, signage, and creating new website content. Simply put . . . if you love what we do and want to shout it from the rooftops then we need you!
EDUCATION AMBASSADORS
JENNIFER YEO is the OSID Student Bursary Coordinator. She has been leading the charge on this front and we are grateful to her for her mentorship and continuing to educate emerging professionals as to their options and potential paths within our industry. JENNIFER YEO, along with DORA ANDERSON, have been working on the development of the OSID Student Bursary Awards and the 2024 Student Design Charrette Competition. Awards to be announced at ODEX 2024 event.
FINANCE, REGISTRAR, & RECORD KEEPING COMMITTEE
AMELIA SMITH is our Administration Assistant to the Board of Directors and is also our current Finance, Registrar and Meeting Minute Record Keeper at Society Meetings. Thank you for keeping us organized and making sure we keep track of everything.
